THE CHARACTER ARENA

Blaze chooses the arena to be the shadow land. Never fought there before!

Blaze stood facing Darkest, her hands lightly placed on the hilt of her swords. After a second of acting like she was going to choose the twins she changed her mind and grabs Leiko and Mara. With a quick movement she moved across the small space seperating her and darkest, stay a whips length away from him, and aimed Mara to grab his neck.

Darkests answering smirk gleamed in the twilight of the Shadow realm as he darted back. The bitter cold that came from being in a world where neither light nor dark touched barely affected him. "Whatever made you think i"m going to just sit here and let you whip me?"

Black flame erupted from his fingertips and shot at blaze.

Blaze smiled charmingly back at Darkest. "Oh, I don't know I just thought you'd be into that kind of thing." Blaze retorted, easily sliding away from the flame Darkest shot at her. She was dead, so tempature had no effect on her. But the lighting did, the lightig as in there was no light. Blaze darted closer to Darkest, swinging in a left arch.

"Normally, you'd be right."

Darkest rolled in forward under the whip and stabbed up at blazes stomach with his dagger, His teeth flashing at blazes remark.

(( *waves Go Blaze! Flag* ))

Blaze dogged the attack by moving to the left quickly. She flicked her wrist and sent Mara after the wrist in which Darkest held his dagger, and then threw her sword at him, so that it would fly into his chest.

Darkest fell forward and to the left, avoiding the sword and getting cut by the tip of the whip on his ankle. He growled and slashed at blazes ankles, and created a wall of fire behind blaze, which rushed forward.

"Leiko!" Blaze's sword popped back into her hand. She jumped up to advoid the attack at her ankels then made a sheild from shadows as the fire passed over her. "Sometimes I think you forget that I can use magic too." Blaze said to him, sending a tornado of fire at Darkest.

"Sometimes i wonder if you forget I'm fireproof." A hail of throwing knives whirled out of the center of the flame, all heading for blaze. A violent surge of power and blazes shield was reduced just enough to break the ward that would have stopped the flying blades.

"haha, are you sure the fire wasn't a distraction?" Blaze asked. Behind Darkest a tsunami was coming in. Blaze dove out of the way of the flying daggers. She got a few shallow scrapes here and there that held quickly but one dagger logged itself in her arm. She pulled it out growling her discomfort then threw it back at darkest.

Darkest smiled from where he was, even though blaze couldnt see him. The dagger soared wide, and Darkest made the whirlwind larger and thicker. It began to scorch the earth and turn the stones red.

Blaze's tsunami came in hitting wave after wave, with surpriseing force, where darkest was. It also put out the fire that Blaze had started. Blaze disappeared into the shadows only to reapear in the air. Rain clouds started to fourm, adding to the excessive amount of water brought in by the waves. Next joined in the thunder and lightening to the mix. The lightning hit the water electrafying everything in it.

Darkest flinched when the lightning hit, but other than that, he remained hidden. Gale force winds began to batter at the sourrounding area. As each one hit the vibrations made darkests bones shake.

The winds grew stronger and Blaze dropped from the sky. She was never a strong flyer to begin with, and she still didn't know where darkest was. The rain was throwing off his scent. Quickly she shapped sharks out of shadows and sent them in search of Darkest. When they found him they would come back to her and report his location.

Tendrils of earth wrapped around the sharks, and pulled them into the ground, crushing them. Darkest smiled. This was going to get interesting.

After the sharks were crushed they simply reformed again. It wasn't like they were made out of anything soild. They were just shadows.

Darkest frowned, then sighed. Sunlight skewered the sharks, infusing them and corrupting the shadow within. Darkest drew some energy from the land. That manouvre had been costly. The now bright and shining sharks turned right around and headed straight for blaze. The land around them smoked and hissed, untouched by light, here, it was anethma.

Blaze made her sharks disappear with in the second they turned on her. "Comeon Darkest, you don't really want to play hide and seek do you?"

"Yes. I do."

"Why? Are you afraid I might actually beat you today?"

"I just prefer to sit here and sleep rather than bat you away."

Blaze made a face. "Well fine. Why don't you just give up and winning goes to me and we can just end this then."
